Bible Walk ("the App") is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to our servers because we do not operate servers for user data. If you have questions, contact: will@holdfast.dev

1. Summary

• No account required.
• No data collection by us.
• All app data stays on your device.
• Health data is accessed only on-device (with your permission) to provide App functionality.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or receive:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or account identifiers
• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos
• Your Health/fitness data
• Your app usage analytics
• Your device identifiers for tracking
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

The App does not transmit your data to us because we do not run backend services that receive your data.

3. On-Device Data Stored by the App

The App may store certain information locally on your device to function, such as:

• Journey selection and progress (miles logged, milestones unlocked)
• App preferences and settings

This information is stored on-device and is not sent to us.

4. Apple Health / HealthKit

The App can read data from Apple Health / HealthKit only if you grant permission in iOS.

• The App reads Health data only to provide core features (for example, using distance to update journey progress).
• Health data is processed on-device only.
• We do not store Health data on our servers.
• We do not sell, share, or use Health data for advertising or tracking.

You can change or revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Bible Walk.

5. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may provide optional links to third-party study resources (for example, Bible study websites or apps). If you open a third-party link, that third party's privacy practices apply.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because data is stored on your device:

• You can delete the App to remove its locally stored data.
• If the App includes an in-app "Reset" option, using it will remove local app data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We rely on iOS security features and standard on-device storage protections. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we design the App to minimize risk by not transmitting personal data to our servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will update the Effective Date and publish the new version.
